Services


For your security, protection and peace of mind, we will provide you with a reliable professional nurse and or caregiver. One Call Homecare Network’s referral procedures include a check of prior employment references, criminal background, current CPR certification, and TB test. In addition, our nurses and caregivers carry professional liability insurance and are bonded. All nurses and caregivers are thoroughly screened and supervised.

One Call Homecare is dedicated to providing you quality of care to those we are privileged to serve.

Live-In Services

This is a service in which the aide lives with the client and provides 24 hour supervision. The aide will usually stay with the individual for 7-14 days at a time before a relief aide takes over for a couple of days, to allow the live-in aide some time off for personal needs.

Live-In's can perform the following tasks:

Escort to and from appointments
Assist with all shopping and errands
Take a patient out to dinner, social events etc.
Grocery shopping with or without the patient
Monitor changes in health and mental status
Cue for medications and advise when refills  are needed
Provide socialization
Guarantee 24-hour care
Planning and preparation of all meals
Weekly or Biweekly monitoring by our staff nurse


Types of Caregivers

All caregivers are thoroughly screened including a Florida Department Of Law Enforcement background check


RN (Registered Nurse)

A graduate of an approved educational program for Registered Nurses. Maintains a current Florida state license as a registered nurse.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing and evaluating the care given to the patient and reporting to the patient's physician.


LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

A graduate of an approved educational program for Licensed Practical Nurses. Maintains a current Florida state license as a licensed practical nurse.

The Licensed Practical Nurse operates under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician.

Certified Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide

Maintains state certification and or graduate of a state approved training program.

Assists with activities of daily living (hands on care) as required by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.


CNA/HHA

A Certified Nurse Assistant has completed a state mandated course and passed an intensive exam. All CNA's and HHA's have undergone background screening by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. All Aides also work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Home Health Aide's can perform the following tasks:

Assist with getting into and out of bed
Assist with bathing, showering, shampoo and shave
Assist with dressing
Provide meals
Medication reminders
Range of motion exercises
Assist with incontinence care
Toileting
Emptying catheter bags
Assist with ambulation and transfers
Laundry
Light Housekeeping
Transportation
Socialization

Companions

A companion can offer the first link to outside assistance for an elderly person.

Companions can perform the following tasks:

Escort to and from appointments
Take a patient out to dinner, social events etc.
Grocery shopping with or without the patient
Monitor changes in health and mental status
Cue for medications and advise when refills  are needed
Provide socialization
Cook meals
Light housekeeping
Laundry
